Proficiency in using complex imaging technologies like PET/CT, SPECT, and gamma cameras to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

Ability to help patients feel comfortable and at ease, particularly those who may be anxious about the procedures or unfamiliar with nuclear medicine.

Accuracy in recording patient data, imaging results, and radiopharmaceutical doses to maintain detailed medical records.

Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, imaging quality, or patient preparation, and to resolve them promptly.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a critical role in supporting physicians by performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assess organ function and detect potential abnormalities.

This includes conducting body and organ scans using radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring accurate administration and documentation of isotope dosages in line with established protocols.

The technologist closely monitors patients throughout the procedure, promptly identifying and reporting any irregularities or adverse reactions to ensure patient safety and the highest quality of care.

Collect relevant patient history, such as allergies or previous surgeries, which could affect the imaging process.
