Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Must be able to utilize manufacturer equipment manuals, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, and read mechanical drawings.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams.

Basic Electrical knowledge to include NFPA 70e requirements.

Able to operate material handling equipment; perform pump rebuilds, sensor calibrations, PM’s

Familiarity with Ammonia Refrigeration Systems preferred.

Familiarity with process instrumentation and process drawings, PLC’s preferred.

Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and services with outside contractors that will troubleshoot and repair ammonia refrigeration system.

Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC, water heating system, and boiler/condenser water chemical system.

Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual facility and building inspections along with assigned work orders.

Assist with refrigeration system inspections.

Assist with maintaining refrigeration logs and records documenting time, material and parts.

Responsible for housekeeping of all assigned areas; including ammonia refrigeration engine room, maintenance shop area, and chemicals/parts storage area.
