Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience designing complex digital and analog circuity
Systems design experience contributing to design architecture
Ability and desire to bring your design through all stages including directing PCBA layout, working with contract manufacturers, testing, debugging and rework of high density PCBAs with fine pitch components
Strong experience debugging systems using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

The expected salary range for this role is $139,000 to $152,000 depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
Responsibilities
Join an engineering team designing super-resolution microscopes, including signal processing, motion control, robotics and system automation that enables Eikon’s scientific achievements
Contribute to system design architecture of instrument control and data acquisition systems
Design, prototype, and test electronic assemblies. Work closely with the microscopy and automation teams on design validation, implementation, and design improvements
Write FPGA and microcontroller firmware to implement required functionality. Write PC host code to test and characterize your design
Build and release assemblies to be used by scientists and end-users, creating a full suite of documentation and test procedures
