Responsibilities
The Veterinary Sterile Processing Technician plays a vital role in supporting surgical services by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained.
This position is responsible for decontaminating, assembling, wrapping, and sterilizing surgical instruments, monitoring sterilization processes, maintaining sterilization equipment, and managing sterile supply inventory.
The technician follows strict infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols to maintain a safe, organized, and sterile environment for veterinary surgical procedures.
