in the State of Ohio. Applicants must have
passed the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry
. If you have not tested and will not be state tested within 60 days of starting, please apply for a Resident/Household Aide.

Responsibilities
Assisting residents in preventative, therapeutic, and restorative nursing procedures; adhering to safety and infection control policies and procedures.
Assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, dressing, ambulating and transferring residents.
Completing all required documentation; reporting defective equipment or other potential safety hazards.
Working with residents, families, members of the health care team and other employees in a pleasant, respectful and cooperative manner.
Attending all in-service programs as required by facility and state/federal guidelines.
Respecting and maintaining resident’s dignity, privacy and confidentiality according to Residents Bill of Rights.
