Requirements
2+ years of experience in data analytics, data operations or marketing analytics, ideally with a subscription, media or digital consumer business
2+ years experience in SQL and Python
Exposure to Spark and Databricks
Familiarity with dbt or other transformation frameworks
Experience validating and reconciling ingested data (schema drift, nulls, bad joins).
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)

This role supports the architecture, optimization and governance of National Geographic’s consumer data platforms, ensuring data is accurate, scalable and actionable across the organization.
Working at the intersection of data engineering and applied analytics, this role assists in the development of data pipelines, creation of behavioral segments and the operationalization of machine learning outputs that inform marketing, retention and personalization efforts.
Collaborating with teams across National Geographic and Disney, this position will help translate business needs into technical solutions.
The ideal candidate is passionate about data infrastructure, eager to learn about machine learning applications and committed to finding new ways of leveraging data to drive measurable business comes across marketing, subscription and engagement initiatives.
Develop and maintain clean, reusable data models for reporting and forecasting
