Senior Manager, Packaging Engineering Operations

10+ years of experience in supply chain management of complex hardware packaging and/or sourcing engineering

3+ years of experience managing and developing a team of direct reports

Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industry

Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and material planning strategies

Proficiency in using software systems and tools

Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards related to packaging compliance and material management activities

The Senior Manager of Packaging, you will work within the Supply Chain team to develop and maintain packaging optimization and compliance.

This is a proactive, high-impact role in securing critical components, materials, and services that protect and transport our products.

This role will be responsible for managing packaging operations and engineering that can be incorporated into new products, as well as existing products to improve their technologies, cost, and quality.

Develop and execute strategies for packaging operations and engineering, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience

Partner with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to design packaging that protects high-value and sensitive technology during transport, storage, and deployment

Implement End-to-End packaging management measures and audits to ensure accuracy and to mitigate packaging issues.
