Requirements
Ability to apply knowledge in the area of normal auditory, speech-language, feeding, and swallowing development to diagnose and treat speech-language, voice, and range of cranio-facial, hearing and communication disorders.
As related to job assignment, ability to operate equipment to determine level of feeding/swallowing function, and measure speech production for children with cleft palate and/or craniofacial anomalies.
As related to job assignment, knowledge of pediatric airway, craniofacial, and feeding-swallowing disorders.

Minimum of 1 year post Clinical Fellowship Year experience in a multidisciplinary medical or integrative clinical setting with patients who have speech, language, craniofacial, feeding swallowing, or hearing disorders preferred.

Responsibilities
Provides evaluations of auditory, communication, developmental, and academic skills for infants, children, and adults with hearing loss or disorders of communication, feeding, or swallowing.
Provides direct and consultative developmentally appropriate habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services to patients served in the acute care unit, intensive care unit, craniofacial clinical unit, psychiatric unit, and outpatient clinics in the domains for speech, language, cognition, voice, feeding, and swallowing.
Consults with medical, dietary, clinical, educational personnel, families, and other staff, including officers from other agencies as needed to ensure excellence in patient care.
Assists in recruitment, design, or implementation of selected clinical research projects.
Prepares and maintains reports/records on patients, clients, and students.
Participates in mentorship of graduate students and clinical fellows in the area of assessment and intervention for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing or who have disorders affecting communication, language, feeding, and swallowing.
