Senior Data Center Manager

Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules for MEP works.

Ensure that all MEP works are executed safely and in compliance with local codes and standards.

Lead testing and commissioning activities and ensure successful handover of MEP systems.

Project set up with project budget and schedule creation including oversight.

RFP development, pre-bid planning, oversight, and coordination.

Assist team on facilitating design and construction phases.

Our salary ranges are determined by location, level and role. Individual compensation will be determined by experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.

As Together AI’s first Data Center Manager hire, you’ll sit at the intersection of infrastructure, finance, and operations - owning how and where we scale the physical backbone of our AI cloud.  You will be the subject matter expert in data center electrical/mechanical systems, infrastructure, and engineering practices, experienced on large construction projects with an operational perspective. This role blends technical understanding of data center design (power, cooling, plumbing) with strategic planning, financial analysis, and commercial negotiation.

You’ll help decide what we build, where we build, and who we build it with, shaping the economics and resilience of Together’s global AI infrastructure footprint.

The Data Center is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on Data Center Projects. The role ensures that MEP installations are completed in accordance with design, budget, quality, and schedule requirements, and comply with all relevant regulations and standards. In addition, you will be involved with the following activities:

Evaluate Datacenter properties for deployment and use and of high power GPU servers

Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural disciplines to identify and resolve conflicts (clash detection).
