Responsibilities
You will oversee the strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational excellence of our desktop platform and critical equities applications. You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive initiatives to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. Specifically, you will:
Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
Analyze system performance and lead initiatives to improve the operations of equities applications.
Oversee the implementation of monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Drive the development of software services, libraries, and tools to automate processes, reduce toil, and enhance system reliability.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems architecture and operational procedures.
