YO Wage GED Program Internship Westside (NCS) - Mayor's Office of Employment Development

Must be a Baltimore City resident between the ages of 18 and 24.      High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Demonstrate professional workplace behaviors and communication skills.

Through our Youth Opportunity (YO) Centers, MOED offers internship programs providing young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 with valuable hands-on experience, educational & professional development, and mentorship opportunities in both public and private sector organizations throughout Baltimore City.

The program’s goal is to help participants build career readiness skills, gain work experience, and prepare for long-term employment and/or continued education to ensure their success.Position Summary:Youth Interns will support daily operations within their assigned academic, business, or community service organization as per the program’s design.

Interns will also participate in training sessions and workshops focused on career development, financial literacy, communication, and teamwork.

Participate in evaluations and feedback sessions to support growth and learning.
