Head Of Consumer Financing

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

10+ years of experience in a leadership role, with 5+ years in auto finance, consumer lending, or captive finance.

Strong understanding of credit risk management, underwriting, and portfolio analytics. Experience developing credit policies and managing loan portfolios through various economic cycles.

Proven track record of building or scaling lending operations, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.

Experience securing and managing debt funding for consumer/auto loan portfolios (e.g., warehouse lines, forward flow, securitization), including lender negotiations, covenant management, and performance reporting is an asset.

Deep knowledge of Canadian lending regulations and compliance requirements.

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Director of Consumer Financing to lead and scale Clutch’s consumer financing business. This role will be responsible for building our lending operations, developing credit strategies, and driving portfolio performance. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of auto financing in Canada by developing lending strategies that optimize loan performance, strengthen customer relationships, and drive sustainable growth.
