Strong understanding of technical issues in relation to civil engineering in a mine environment

Registered with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)

Responsibilities

The Civil Project Engineer will be responsible for the management of design, including preparation of drawings and specifications and construction of civil engineering works, structures, and infrastructure (including buildings) for the Mingomba Mine Project.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of civil construction contracts and reviewing variations where applicable.

You will be responsible for building and fostering a collaborative relationship with all stakeholders including consultants, peer reviewers and suppliers.

You will help develop novel data collection and monitoring programs.

Ensures that innovative civil/structural detailed designs are completed following good engineering practices and in accordance with the required standards and specifications, industry standards, and the relevant legislation (quality of design).

Provides design interface between disciplines.
