Requirements
Experience working with one or more of the following sensor modalities:
LiDAR: Model raw performance metrics such as range, resolution, point cloud density, and environmental robustness.
Specialize in advanced technologies like FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave), Time-of-Flight (ToF), and MEMS LiDAR systems.
Radar: Analyze performance parameters including range accuracy, angular resolution, velocity measurement, and robustness against interference, tailored to automotive use cases.
Cameras: Evaluate performance factors such as resolution, field of view, dynamic range, low-light sensitivity, and image quality under various environmental conditions.
INS (Inertial Navigation Systems): Model drift, bias stability, and integration with GNSS systems to optimize localization accuracy and robustness.

Responsibilities
The Senior Hardware Engineer on the Sensors team will be responsible for authoring, maintaining and analyzing technical requirements, and working across the product lifecycle to ensure stakeholder alignment and successful test/validation of each sensor.
Develop lidar, radar, camera, inertial navigation systems (INS), and microphone components that meet functional safety, security and component requirements with a focus on reliability and lifetime performance.

We are currently seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer who is enthusiastic about thriving in a hands-on environment and ready to grow with the team. In this role, you will analyze and write hardware requirements, interface with automotive suppliers and stakeholders, develop and oversee implementation of test plans and procedures, and ensure overall alignment between the hardware components and the system goals.
