Client Accountant

Strong experience with financial/accounting systems and Excel-based reporting

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

Solid understanding of job-based accounting, client billing, and ASC 606

3–4 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within an advertising, marketing, or professional services agency

Own monthly client billing across agency fees, production costs, and media (where applicable), as well as revenue recognition, reconciliations, including accruals and deferrals for assigned clients

Maintain and manage revenue forecasts, pipelines, and budgets, and lead monthly forecast reviews with agency leadership

Serve as a trusted partner to client teams with a strong understanding of client P&Ls and overall financial health

Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, industry, and engagement model

Review contracts and billing terms for accuracy, compliance, and optimization, making recommendations when needed

Monitor receivables and collaborate with Client Experience and clients to resolve outstanding balances
