Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, the Sourcing Specialist is responsible for procuring goods and/or services and supporting sourcing and purchasing needs for assigned stations/business units, providing industry, technical, and supply chain expertise.
The primary objective is to manage inventory and suppliers to deliver the highest quality, reliability, and value to meet company and station/business unit requirements, and to provide expertise to support business and system processes for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials/services.
Assist in gathering and analyzing industry, economic, market, and spend data.
Supports identifying opportunities to leverage spend by category.
Measure and track performance within a defined spend category.
Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential suppliers.
