Staff Database Engineer

8+ years designing and operating production-grade relational databases, with deep PostgreSQL expertise.

Ownership of database architecture, replication, scaling, indexing, and performance strategy across PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Proven experience operating high-availability, multi-region, multi-tenant SLA-backed production systems.

Advanced SQL and query optimization expertise and automation capability.

Experience defining governance, compliance, and operational standards for enterprise-grade data platforms.

Reporting to the engineering leadership team, the

Staff Database Engineer

will own the evolution of our data layer from growth-optimized foundations to enterprise-grade reliability and performance. You will define replication, scaling, latency, and governance strategies while serving as the primary authority for database operational excellence. In this role, you will shape database engineering practices for a mission-critical system, directly impacting the reliability and performance of a platform powering Physical AI in warehouse operations.
