SerDes Application Engineer

8+ years of experience working with high speed SerDes and Analog IP

Good understanding of high speed SerDes architecture

Hands on experience with high speed debug and characterization

Experience with script-based test automation and strong scripting skills in general

Strong understanding of channel loss, jitter, and typical impairments encountered in high speed serial IO designs

Experience working with PCIe including Gen6

The annual base salary range for this position is USD 121,900.00 To USD 195,000.00

SerDes Applications Engineer

Broadcom's Core Switching Group (CSG) is looking for a SerDes Applications Engineer with focused expertise in serial IO technology who can help support some of it's largest Tier 1 customers operating at the bleeding edge including 200Gbps per lane PAM4 Ethernet interfaces and 64 GT/s PCIe Gen6 interfaces.

As a SerDes Applications Engineer (AE), you will be the owner of all technical aspects relating to the SerDes interfaces of Broadcom CSG products.

These products span a range of markets including Service Provider, Data Center and Enterprise.

Key responsibilities include the handling of all aspects of technical support pertinent to the high speed serial IO interfaces of CSG products.
