Product Manager

Basic Qualifications:

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

7 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Strong technical skills and ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

The Product Manager is a business-oriented role focused on ensuring the smooth launch of new product features while maintaining the high standards of existing products. You will drive product feature launches through monitoring, communications, and technical specifications, and implement performance requirements, enforcement programs, and operational processes.

As a Product Manager in the Visa Alias Directory team, you’ll partner closely with engineering, architecture, product teams, and regional client‑facing groups to shape and execute the future of Alias Directory. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our platform and the competitive landscape, helping define the next generation of alias‑based payment experiences. Your work will focus on solving real customer problems, delivering innovative solutions, and driving global adoption of Alias Directory. This role is perfect for someone who blends strategic vision with hands‑on execution and is motivated by creating meaningful impact for clients and end users.

Primary Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy: Partner with business and technology teams globally to develop and refine the vision and strategy to support partners' portfolios and create platform applications, including identifying new product opportunities, features, and enhancements based on market trends, competitive analysis, and regulatory changes.

Product Development: Lead the development team, coordinating with architecture, engineering, cross-functional products, and regional client-facing teams. Oversee the launch of new product features and ensure the maintenance of high standards for existing products.
