Sanctions Expertise: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sanctions compliance within FinTech, FX, or Corporate Banking.
Regional Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Brazilian and broader LATAM regulatory environment, including local Central Bank requirements.
Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to analyse complex corporate structures and international trade finance documentation.
Global Standards: Strong working knowledge of OFAC, EU, and UK sanctions regimes.
Responsibilities
Policy Alignment: Implement and maintain the Group Sanctions Standard across all LATAM entities, ensuring consistency between local and global requirements.
Advisory & Escalation: Act as the senior point of escalation for sanctions alerts, providing definitive guidance on related sanctions exposure.
Regional Oversight: Provide dedicated oversight of the LATAM/Brazil risk landscape.
Regulatory Liaison: Keep up to date with local Sanctions in Brazil and other LATAM markets, ensuring Ebury remains compliant with both local laws and international standards (OFAC, EU, UK).
