Strong hands‑on experience with Sybase ASE/SQL development, administration, tuning, and troubleshooting.

Prior Army Contractor experience

Prior experience supporting Azure environment

Manage and maintain Sybase ASE/SQL databases and associated configurations in Azure environments.

Optimize database performance, diagnose and resolve Sybase‑related issues, and support cloud‑hosted workloads.

Implement and monitor database backup, recovery, and continuity strategies across Azure services.

Support database refactoring and migration efforts from on‑premises Sybase environments into Azure IaaS/PaaS architectures.

Collaborate with ETL, reporting, and data quality teams to ensure consistency and reliable data flows.

Apply Azure-native monitoring, automation, and security capabilities to Sybase workloads.
