The Payroll Coordinator is accountable for the accurate, timely processing of semi-monthly payroll for approximately 400 Canadian employees across multiple provinces.
This includes validating timesheets and employee changes before every run, calculating off-cycle payments and manual cheques, and ensuring statutory deductions, benefits, and garnishments are processed correctly each cycle.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll, you're the first point of contact for employees with questions about pay, deductions, or tax matters, and you'll partner with People & Culture to keep employee data consistent across systems and with Finance on reconciliation, month-end, and year-end close, including T4 preparation.
