Requirements

Experience in primary care or community care settings preferred.

Experience in the assessment and treatment of neurological, cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, and chronic disease conditions required.

Client service–oriented, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse environment and value differing perspectives and backgrounds.

Experience with Telus PSS EMR considered an asset.

Toronto Western Family Health Team

As an integral member of the collaborative, interdisciplinary Family Health Team, the Physiotherapist provides physiotherapy services to patients of the Toronto Western Family Health Team – both Bathurst and Garrison Creek Sites.

The Physiotherapist offers assessment of a wide variety of presentations seen in the primary care setting and works within the interprofessional team in a short term treatment model focused on assessment and education.

Principal responsibilities include; clinical care, education of patients families, students and staff, program development, and participation in research and quality improvement initiatives.
