High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products to validate conformance to blueprints and instructions by customer and to company operating procedures.

Conducts detailed material preparation by operating Dremel tools and buffing wheels and applying sandpaper scuffing techniques to optimize surfaces for finishing processes.

Uses hand tools to grind, cut, or sand walls to acceptable limits and specifications.

Uses chemicals, such as, but not limited to; chemlock, acetone, and alcohol for the preparation of parts for the next process.

Prepares parts for curing in ovens in preparation for molding operations.
