The community of Canso is seeking a full scope family physician to join their family practice network team in the seaside village of Canso, NS.  The local community hospital, Eastern Memorial Hospital, serves the population in the eastern portion of Guysborough County.

It has 6 inpatient beds, attached Long-Term Care, and daytime Emergency Dept.

There is Virtual ED support for nighttime and weekends.

The nearest regional hospital, St.

The family practice office is staffed and managed by NSH.
