Requirements

Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, engineering management or a relevant field

Years of Experience required in type of role: 4+ years of experience in body mechanical areas and

ladderframe structure

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills

Expert in CATIA V5. Including the ability to make 3D parametric models and 2D drawings

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range =   $110,000.00 - $135,000.00

Responsibilities

Responsible for the ladderframe structure all new products. You will cover from clean sheet of paper through virtual development, testing/sign-off and manufacturing launch for all Scout all-electric pick-up and rugged SUVs.

Creating the CAD-Data of the ladderframe structure

Optimize the CAD-Data with respect to cost, functionality, weight, and manufacturability.

Working together with suppliers and engineering service providers.
