Responsibilities

The School of Social Work Latino Center for Health (LCH) has an outstanding opportunity for a part time Research Coordinator 3.

Reporting to the LCH Administrator of Program Operations, this position is responsible for supporting the mission of the Latino Center for Health and the UW School of Social Work by contributing to our understanding health promotion of Latino communities in Washington state.

Prepare study materials and forms, including consent and recruitment materials, intervention materials, and assessment materials, dissemination plans and marketing plans (in English and Spanish).

Prepare and submit IRB applications and modification requests for research studies.

Use research management systems (such as RedCap) and other study databases to track study workflow, participation and engagement, and data quality; generate monthly reports.

Conduct qualitative research (in English and Spanish): moderate focus groups; conduct interviews; manage audio files of research interviews and focus groups from transcription through coding; excerpt and code concept interviews and focus groups; analyze and synthesize findings.
