Compensation and Benefits:
KIPP NYC offers a salary ranging from $80,340 - $88,745. Salary ranges at KIPP NYC are standardized based on role level and role function. Individual salaries are determined through a lens of equity, accounting for years of experience relevant to the role and scope of responsibilities, and are benchmarked against others within the same salary band.

Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The School Operations Manager (SOM) is responsible for managing and executing smooth daily operations of the school Specifically, the SOM ensures core daily systems are effectively executed, student enrollment targets are met and maintained, facilities and technology systems are in good working order, daily student health and safety protocols are adhered to, and daily events logistics are executed as planned. The SOM reports directly to the Director of Operations (DOO) and manages the School Operations Administrator (SOA).
Duties and Responsibilities:
General responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Daily Operations Management:
Oversee key daily systems such as student arrival, attendance, transitions, lunch/recess, and dismissal. Ensure all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Ensure the main office is staffed, supplies are replenished, and equipment is in good working order. Manage technology, facilities, and other operational systems, resolving issues promptly. Lead planning and execution of student recruitment and enrollment processes.
