Principal Product Manager, Originations Core

7+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, lending, or platform-focused roles

Proven track record of owning complex product areas or platforms and delivering measurable business impact

Experience defining product strategy and driving execution across multiple teams or squads

Strong systems thinking, with the ability to connect user experiences, platform capabilities, and business outcomes

Experience working on technically complex systems, with the ability to partner deeply with engineering on architecture and trade-offs

Data-driven mindset with experience defining metrics, running experiments, and using insights to inform decisions

SoFi is looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead our Originations Core platform within the Borrow business unit.

In this role, you will define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the systems and experiences that power how members discover, apply for, and manage loans across SoFi.

You will operate at the center of our lending ecosystem, owning both foundational platform capabilities and critical member-facing experiences.

This includes the Borrow experience across web and mobile, reusable UI systems, entry points into the application funnel, and core originations infrastructure such as application data models and credit decisioning.

This role requires a product leader who can think holistically across systems, teams, and user journeys.

You will partner closely with multiple product teams, engineering squads, and business stakeholders to drive alignment, scale platform capabilities, and deliver measurable improvements to conversion, efficiency, and member experience.
