Responsibilities
The Staff Officer SME IV serves as a senior subject matter expert providing high-level policy, operations, and analytic support to the Operational Support and International Partnerships (OSIP) Office within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)).
This key personnel position requires extensive expertise in intelligence operations, policy development, international partnerships, and strategic planning. The incumbent will support OSIP's core functions: developing and managing resources to address intelligence mission requirements, conducting outreach to appropriate Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC) elements, and providing oversight of sensitive activities and special programs.
Policy & Strategy Development
Develop, review, and revise strategy, policy, and guidance related to intelligence activities
Provide expert advice and recommendations on key strategic, planning, programming, budgeting, and policy matters
Develop and evaluate OUSW(I&S) policy documents, ensuring they meet Defense Intelligence needs
