Computer Science and Engineering (undergraduate, masters or PhD) from top tier University

At least 3+ years of software engineering, ML engineering experience

Deep knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and API design

Proven experience building recommendation engines, search infrastructures, or large-scale data pipelines

Excellent cross-functional communication and a customer first mentality

Rapid Prototyping (0-to-1): Own the initial technical roadmap. You’ll build the "Version 0" of a startup's backend, ensuring it’s scrappy enough to launch but structured enough to scale once the venture spins out

Rapid design and prototyping, build functional MVPs in weeks, not months, to test business hypotheses and user demand

Architect the end-to-end flow for recommendation systems—from data ingestion and feature engineering to real-time model inference and feedback loops

Build the "connective tissue" between LLMs, vector databases, and traditional relational stores to create stateful, intelligent applications

Build and deploy scalable discovery algorithms and feedback loops that personalize the user experience from day one
