Requirements
ODE school nurse licensure required
Current Ohio license as a Registered Nurse
Experience working with children
Quality Control: able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $55,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Responsibilities
School nurses facilitate normal development and positive student response to interventions.
Engage in research and evaluation of school health services, school health programs and school nursing practices
Maintain health records on each student in accordance with FERPA.
School nurses provide leadership in promoting health and safety, including a healthy environment.
Promote a healthy school environment for staff and students to support the link between health and academic achievement.
Monitor health status of students on a daily basis.
