Requirements

Completion of an educational pathway approved by ARDMS

Preferred:

Graduate of a CAAHEP or CMA-approved ultrasound/vascular technology program

Proficient in performing diagnostic ultrasound exams

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for operating ultrasound and non-invasive vascular equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.

This role ensures the delivery of safe, accurate, and high-quality imaging, and requires excellent technical proficiency, professionalism, and a patient-focused approach.

Monitor and assess patient condition, document findings accurately and promptly

Ensure optimal image quality by conducting equipment checks and adjustments

Participate in ongoing quality improvement and maintain accreditation standards (ICAVL, AIUM)

Operate RIS/PACS systems competently within job scope
