Responsibilities
As an Avionics Technician on the Production and Test team, you will play a vital role in the assembly, integration, and test of avionics systems and harnesses.
Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, you will help bring cutting-edge avionics hardware from early development through flight readiness and production ramp.
Avionics Assembly: Build, install, and test avionics hardware including flight computers, sensors, RF components, power distribution units, and harnesses using engineering drawings, work instructions, and process documentation.
This includes crimping, soldering, connector backshell assembly, and cable routing to meet fit, form, and workmanship standards.
Harness Fabrication and Installation: Fabricate, inspect, and install wire harnesses and cable assemblies at required quality and standards, ensuring proper routing, strain relief, shielding, and continuity.
System Integration: Work alongside engineering and quality teams to integrate avionics components and subsystems into spacecraft structures, supporting checkouts, functional tests, and troubleshooting to root cause.
