Requirements
3-5 years minimum work experience with Building Automation Systems
Experience w/ Siemen’s Desigo and/or Niagara AX systems preferred
Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, electrical and electronic engineering as it applies to HVAC controls & Building Automation Systems
Strong knowledge of network types and protocols
Ability to perform basic BAS programming: function libraries, Java, and IEC61131 preferred
Demonstrates extensive knowledge with HVAC and electrical systems

Responsibilities
The Building Automation Engineer will be a self-motivated individual capable of managing our building automation architecture. As part of our facility infrastructure team this individual will expand and enhance our system and technology for the US facility operations.
This position will be responsible for designing, installing, troubleshooting and repairing devices, fixtures, and panels related to the BAS control equipment. This individual will collaborate with other facilities employees, engineers, and contractors to provide efficient and cost-effective facilities.
Monitor and maintain building automation systems (BAS) including HVAC, lighting, and access control for optimal performance.
Respond to system alarms and troubleshoot issues remotely or on-site to minimize downtime.
Track and analyze energy consumption and self-generation data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
Prepare and submit accurate energy usage reports to headquarters for compliance and corporate sustainability goals.
