Analyze patient’s responsibility by understanding verification of assets, family size, citizenship status and FPL.

Keys Medicaid cases into DHS eligibility system.

The Clinical Interpreter (Bilingual) will assist English and Spanish speaking patients with Medicaid applications.

Major responsibility is processing Medicaid applications for our Spanish speaking patients who need financial assistance.

Proficiency in verification of Medicaid application.

Increases knowledge of Medicaid categories; DHS programs and UAMS internal programs.

Beginning understanding of Medicaid policies and procedures.
