Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario required

Compensation & Benefits

Hours: Currently days, 8 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary:

Minimum:  $45.57 per hour

Maximum: $58.48 per hour

Responsibilities

Working under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging (DI) managers, the DI Modality Supervisor is an important member of the DI leadership team.

The incumbent will support the manager in overseeing all aspects of modality operations including: quality management; staff productivity and human resource management; resolving issues and pursuing opportunities to ensure effective and efficient operations.

The DI Modality Supervisor will develop and motivate a cohesive team, and will identify and support educational strategies to enhance staff knowledge with respect to professional practice and patient-centered care.

The DI Modality Supervisor must build and continue to maintain dynamic and collaborative relationships across DI and with other clinical partners across the hospital(s).

Manages, organizes, assigns, and distributes workload among staff to ensure the department operates in a manner that is safe, efficient and responsive to volumes and outcomes

Ensures staff compliance with appropriate licensing body(s)
