Director of Accounting

Extensive knowledge of accounting software, implementing procedures/financial systems and controls, as well as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

Knowledge of point of sale systems a plus.

$175,000–$210,000 annually, with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus of up to 10%, based on individual and company performance. The Director of Accounting will oversee the accounting function of Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, Food & Beverage, Long Beach Aquarium Food & Beverage and Long Beach Amphitheater in Long Beach, California.

Directly supervising Accounting Department employees in the day-to-day functions involved in proper facility accounting.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable laws.

These responsibilities and tasks are coordinated with the General Manager, as well as Legends Global Regional Director of Accounting.

This position will monitor and analyze capital and operating budgets, including monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, cash forecasting, and ad hoc business analyses.

Manage all aspects of the day-to-day accounting processes including sales recs, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger.
