Engineering leadership: 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing software engineering teams, with a track record of delivering complex technical initiatives and growing engineers.

Data Collection experience: significant engineering experience across networking, web scraping, browser automation, managed attribution, operational security best practices, anti-bot technology, and distributed systems.

Product and customer mindset: Demonstrated ability to partner closely with product, engineering, and operational stakeholders to deliver solutions that balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical excellence.

We're looking for a talented Software Engineering Manager to lead our Targeted Collection Engineering team, specializing in data collection and processing to support publicly available information (PAI) workflows for national security customers.

You'll be tasked with building and leading a team that focuses on gathering and leveraging publicly available data across a variety of sources.

The team also owns a managed attribution browser that enables our customers to safely browse web resources.

This team plays a crucial role in powering Vannevar’s product suite, while also supporting new product initiatives.
