Requirements
Three (3) or more years of experience with fire alarm system design.
A detail-oriented, quality driven designer with a NICET certification and an understanding of fire alarm design including high-density, high-rise, and smoke control.
A quick learner interested in design fundamentals for fire alarm systems with some AutoCAD/Revit experience and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities
The Associate Fire Alarm Designer is a subject matter expert in training for fire alarm design and installation.
Petersburg, Florida, reviewing original layouts and drawings and interpreting them for the project’s requirements and code compliance.
Coordinate the best design solution by applying industry knowledge and quality standards while considering customer needs and budgeting requirements.
Provide technical assistance for multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.
Provide design direction, support, and guidance to all team members.
Communicate effectively with customers, project team members, and inspecting authorities.
