Manager, Professional Learning (Remote, US)

You have 5+ years of experience in professional learning, instructional design, or educational leadership.

You are available to travel up to 30% of the time year round, and up to 50% of the time during high-volume delivery seasons.

Proficiency with Salesforce, G-Suite, and modern LMS education platforms

Preferences: A data-driven decision-maker and leader, you draw on your pedagogical knowledge to inform professional learning strategy, and you’re always on a quest to find new and effective ways for educators to better serve the needs of their students.

Director of Customer Experience, you will lead and coach a high-performing team of Professional Learning Managers to deliver best-in-class professional learning.

You will spearhead the design of innovative professional learning content, ensure all sessions align with current pedagogical best practices, and maintain a deep, evolving mastery of Newsela’s product suite.

You will deliver high-quality professional learning at schools and districts across the country, in addition to overseeing our Partner Program so that every Newsela customer receives a world-class experience.

You’ll manage a team of PLMs, helping them sharpen their facilitation skills and ensuring they have the resources needed to drive teacher success at scale.

Conduct regular 1:1s and observations (virtual or in-person) to provide actionable feedback on facilitation and presentation style

Design and execute internal onboarding for new PLMs
