Responsibilities

The Nuclear Bolt Technician is responsible for the installation, removal, inspection, and controlled tightening of bolted connections on safety-related and non-safety-related equipment supporting nuclear power generation facilities.

This role performs precision bolting, torquing, and tensioning activities on plant systems and components while maintaining compliance with nuclear quality assurance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Assignment: Fall Refueling Outage

Perform bolting, torquing, and tensioning of flanges, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, pressure boundary components, and other plant equipment

Install, remove, inspect, and maintain bolted connections in accordance with engineering specifications and approved procedures

Operate hydraulic torque wrenches, hydraulic tensioners, and precision measurement equipment
