Responsibilities
As Pharmacy Manager, you will be accountable for the overall operations, performance, and regulatory standing of our Mississauga pharmacy. You will lead with ownership and accountability, overseeing hiring, scheduling, workforce planning, and full-cycle performance management for a large, multidisciplinary team that includes pharmacists, technicians, assistants, shipping staff, and people managers. In this role, you will coach and develop other leaders, strengthening leadership capability, consistency, and accountability across teams through structured feedback, performance evaluations, and ongoing development. You will build and sustain a culture of operational excellence by overseeing onboarding, training programs, and SOP development, ensuring clarity and consistency at scale. You will manage daily workflows and uphold full compliance with federal and provincial regulations and company standards, including those set by the Ontario College of Pharmacists and the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities.
You will drive operational performance by optimizing processes, managing resources, and enabling the pharmacy to scale effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will champion patient safety by supervising prescription review, preparation, and dispensing, while also engaging directly with patients through medication consultations and professional guidance. Additionally, you will oversee inventory management, physical counts, and ordering processes to maintain efficiency and supply integrity. Throughout all aspects of the role, you will lead with confidence in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment, keeping teams aligned, motivated, and effective through ongoing growth and change.
