Requirements

Experience supporting older adults, including those living with dementia and responsive behaviours, is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Life Enrichment Team, the incumbent will be responsible for the development and provision of therapeutic programs to individuals and/or small groups of residents.

The program design and provisions will be based on the identified needs of individual residents.

Members of the Life Enrichment department are required to provide programming in all 5 domains of Recreation.

Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021

Develop programming based on residents' interests, abilities, life experiences, and care plans.

Provide one-to-one visits and emotional support for residents requiring individualized engagement.
