Requirements
We’re Looking For:
A Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician with an active license required, 1+ year professional experience preferred but not required
Consistent punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shifts
Availability to work weekends is a requirement for this position.
Excellent client communication and medical record management skills
Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospital operations

Responsibilities
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Pet accidents, illnesses, and injuries are all unfortunate and seem to always happen at the worst of times when primary care veterinarians are either closed or too busy to see the pet. For these reasons, we are excited to announce that our new Priority Pet Urgent Care of Germantown is now open! We are available for urgent care pet needs 7 days a week from 2pm – 10pm.
We’re looking to hire the most compassionate, experienced, and qualified LVMTs to ensure the highest quality of medicine is provided. Our new building and state of the art equipment will provide our teams the space and tools they’ll need to deliver the best in service and medicine for our community!
