Requirements
1–2 years of experience with Python and Bash scripting.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, IP addressing, VLANs, cable types) and the ability to work with structured cabling, including copper and fiber optic.
Familiarity with audio/video cabling, connectors, and optical transceivers (SFP/QSFP) used in broadcast or AV environments is an asset.
Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
Exposure to broadcast networking, SDI, and SMPTE ST 2110 environments.
Experience with network device configuration or management tools.

Responsibilities
Maintain and organize network, audio, video, and fiber optic cabling across lab and small-scale data center environments.
Rewire and reconfigure devices based on engineering requests, test plans, and project demands.
Install, replace, and decommission lab devices including switches, servers, and AV networking equipment.
Handle and troubleshoot optical transceivers (SFP/SFP+ and QSFP/QSFP-DD), including installation, swapping, and verifying link status.
Maintain an accurate inventory database of all data center devices, cabling, and port assignments.
Develop and maintain support utility scripts in Python and Bash to streamline lab operations and support remote access to lab devices.
