Sr Staff Software Development Engineer

Deep expertise architecting and delivering large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems.

Expert programming skills in C#, Go, TypeScript, Java, or other modern languages, with authority in API and distributed-systems design.

Hands-on experience with Claude Code (or comparable agentic AI coding tools) to design, build, and review software at high velocity, and the judgment to set the patterns, standards, and guardrails other engineers follow.

A track record of owning architecture and technical direction across multiple teams or an entire domain.

Strong, hands-on AWS expertise designing, hosting, and operating production applications at scale, including compute (e.g., EKS), networking, IAM, managed data stores, and sound scaling, reliability, and cost trade-offs.

Deep understanding of CICD and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

BeyondTrust is seeking a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer to set the technical direction for the NHI Governance domain within our Pathfinder products.

As one of the most senior engineers on the team, you will own architecture across the domain and its integration with our shared platform substrates, drive our hardest technical bets, and

the standards, interfaces, and patterns that other teams build on.

You will lead the server-side loop — discover, assess, and remediate non-human identities (service accounts, workload identities, secrets and keys, and AI agents) across cloud and

environments — and act as a force multiplier across engineering, solving complex identity and security challenges at
