Staff Software Engineer, Spend Management

Meaningful (2+ years) experience in .NET and AWS or equivalent cloud technology.

Required* The ability to integrate generative AI tools into daily workflows to automate tasks, foster innovation, and maximize productivity.

A fundamental understanding of building and scaling business-critical back-end services, with the front-end skills to make them usable.

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Spend Management team, you will be the technical anchor for the platform that gives healthcare practices the confidence and control to spend on the Zocdoc Marketplace.

You'll lead the architecture and development of flexible, self-service spend controls — moving providers off manual, support-mediated budget administration and onto a product they manage directly, with full visibility into their spend and ROI.

This is a money-moving system, so correctness, reliability, and trust are at the heart of everything we build, directly impacting provider trust, marketplace spend, and a practice's ability to maximize their return on Zocdoc.
