4+ years of professional experience in automotive production in a Body Shop, Paint Shop or Assembly Shop.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or other technical fields.
2+ years of Project management experience
Demonstrated expertise in Production/Shopfloor systems and/or production systems such as Worker Guidance, Electronic Quality Management, Reporting, Pick by (light, voice...), Vehicle Identification and localization, and Data Collection interfaces with production equipment.
Ability to quickly adapt to a complex production and IT landscape in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure operational efficiency
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $100,000.00 - $125,000.00

Responsibilities
The Specialist, Shopfloor IT/Production Systems (MES) is responsible for the planning and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other shopfloor related system. The Specialist will report to the Shopfloor IT Manager. Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
End-to-end business responsibility for planning the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platform, including Worker Guidance, Electronic Quality Management, Reporting, Pick by (light, voice...), Vehicle Identification and localization, and Data Collection interfaces with production equipment.
End-to-end business responsibility for planning the Production/Shopfloor systems from concept through implementation phase to final acceptance.
Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders (automation, maintenance, IT, industrial engineering, etc.) as well as external suppliers to identify technological and business needs, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensuring the seamless integration of state-of-the-art technology on the shopfloor, with a focus on the integration of the MES system.
Project coordination in terms of time, costs, and quality (preparation, implementation, training, and documentation of all necessary project milestones).
