Assist in gathering pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Organize and maintain bid documents, estimate files, and support documentation.

Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and internal estimate reviews.

Help analyze historical cost data and benchmark information.

Support value engineering and alternative pricing exercises as needed.

Perform additional tasks to support successful bid submissions.

The Preconstruction Intern supports the estimating and preconstruction team in developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects across a variety of industries and technical disciplines. This internship provides firsthand exposure to the preconstruction process, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, scope review, and bid preparation, while collaborating with experienced estimators and project teams.

Assist with quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and models.

Support the development of cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals.

Help review drawings and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
